My upright jamma cab sound seems to work sometimes and not others. Is there an easy way to see if it is the cabinet or the game pcb at fault (i have one pcb only). Is it an easy job to rewire the speakers ie trace wires to harness from speakers and replace ? Finally where are the speakers normally located, they do not seem easily visible inside the cab.

If anyone can help with the original query it would be most appreciated.
The sound doesnt go on and of during play but between power up and down. Usually if i open up the back and move the pcb about and move the jamma connector around I eventually get it working. If its an easy job ill rewire the speaker but the wiring diagram seems to state 1 speaker cable on the edge connector - I though all speakers had two wires ?

It could be a loose connection from the speaker wire to the jamma connector - check the solder joint to make sure its good (on both the + and - sides) since if thats what you're wiggling around its probably that. If the solder is good, or replacing it doesnt help, then it might be on the board in which case thats beyond my field of expertise, it could also possibly be a cold solder joint on the speaker (or loose wire if its just wrapped around like in my case :/), but it doesnt sound like it from what you've said
