Title: Time to produce the Mame Movies

How long should it take to make a full set of mame movies with Budda's Movie maker program?  It seams that it may take me about ten years to make them all.  It appears that it takes about five minutes to make each one.  If my numbers are correct, this could take over 400 hours!  So, what am I doing wrong? :)

also, remember that you can automatically generate the batch file that will create the movies using a filter, so make sure you only do movies that you really need, even f you have a full ROM set. You can always regenerate the missing ones at a later time.

Yes good point - I would strongly advise only creating movies of parent roms sets - this will save loads of time.

I'm sure most FE's will default to a parent set for media if the clone file is not present. If they don't - this is an extremely minor change I'm sure most FE authors would add...

Also, remove known non-working titles - there are a few games that will crash - eg I noticed Bloody Roar crashes during the attract mode and just hangs - this was a couple of versions ago, no idea if its fixed. (Does this whether you are making movies or not....)

Since I'm doing the complete list, just how much memory is this going to take up?  Also, lets just say I change my mind in the next fifty days(while the movies are being made), how would I go about making a parent list with Listgen.net?  I have a lot of down time right now, so I might as well look into it. ::)
