Hello all,
Im using Pinmame 1.51 and vplaunch4
The main problem i have it that the table loses focus so i need to alt-tab to get to the game, that is ofcourse not an option
Second problem even is the game starts it plays slow and stutters allot
When launched directly the problem is away.
It all worked fine until my x-arcade controller was setup.
Anyone can help me out?

IIRC this is basically a VP bug. If there is a newer version, try it.

Not sure why this is. Mamewah basically does nothing while launched emulators are running.

Again, not sure why this is. As far as Windows is concerned an X-Arcade is just a keyboard.
Check out jcrouse's page here: http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer/vpinball.htm - something to compare you config with.

thanks for you answers, but i tryed everything you said and the game still stutters when launched from mamewah
the alt tab thing is gone so im happy with that.
But it makes the tables unplayable because its so slow

Sorry but I don't know why, launching from Mamewah shouldn't make any noticable difference. Anyone else have the same problem?
-
i tryed the new and old launch wrapper same problem
-
I had the same problem, no stuttering (slow computer??) though...
I did a fresh install of everything, including windows, to a new hard drive, now vpinball works perfectly even with mamewah!

no ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---? this is a clean install of xp :) i can try to install visual pinball again, but the strange thing is it works fast withouht mamewah
also the tables loses focus most of the time when launching with the wrapper
is there another wrapper for visual pinball?

I can't tell you how many times I have to reinstall visual pinball and pinmame to eventually get it working right. There are at _least_ two Visual Pinball wrappers and each have their own release versions.
My guess, as it was with me, is MameWAH has nothing to do with your problem. Try opening up a command prompt and typing in your Visual Pinball Wrapper commands directly. If you don't know what MameWAH is sending the wrapper open up MameWAH's log file.
For me it took a few clean installs of various versions of Visual Pinball, different wrappers and different Pinmame versions. But no clean OS install. Just try installing pinball and it's stuff into different locations.

can you give me your versions that you run?
-
i give up , it have done everything in my power but no luck :(
hopefully someday there will be another wrapper around that will solve this problem
-
1. did a complete re-install
2. installed visual pinball & pinmame
3. used the wrapper from howard
4. same problem again
5. run table directyl from visual pinball thus without the wrapper problem solved
anyone got any new ideas how to run visual pinball from mamewah? or got another wrapper?
*fixed my problem*
