Hey are these the guns i need to buy to make work on my mame cab?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8218450615&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1
ALso if these are the guns, how do i get them to work? I am using S-video to a sony video monitor (15Khz) via an Arcadevga, Mame 99 and mamewah (newest), windows XP pro Sp2.
Thanks for any help as i need a Light gun!

Yes - these are guncon2 compatible guns, so they will work. Be warned that they are cheap guncon2's however - they will jitter a lot, and not be extremely accurate.
In order for the guns to work, you will need to have an RCA out to feed to the gun. That is all that matters, you can feed the svid into the display then. In fact, if your display has an RCA out, you can feed svid into the display and then use the rca out to feed the gun.

Hey can you use 2 guns like this in MAME for 2 player action? If so do i just put them in line on the s-video? I found a thread to "hack" my s-video cable to work with the guncon2 guns, however i don't know if 2 guns are doable.

2 guns are perfectly doable. Most guncon2's include a wire that lets you string many together.

are the sony brand guncon 2 's accurate / as accurate as acts guns?
-
Depending on your setup and/or the amount of time you are willing to spend calibrating most guncon2's can be as accurate, or more accurate than the act labs guns.
Also, do you have a link with info on the gun you want to buy? I wasn't aware of any Sony brand guncon2's.

Don't buy those guns, they are the suck. I would just get two of the MadCatz from Walmart. The look like crazy alien guns or some thing but they work good.
