Title: Site showing estimates of pricing for cabs.
Post by: babydickonboard on September 13, 2005, 10:40:53 pm
so i was just wondering, if anybody could point me in the direction of a site or service that shows how much cabs are going for..?  I'm about to buy a broken down cabnet (Xevious) and i was curious as to the current estimated value of this and other working games.  I looked on ebay (and craigslist), and i couldn't find one currently for sale so i was wondering where else i  might look.  maybe a site with cabs listed out and the prices that they were sold for.  thanks in advance!

Broken down Xevious, $25-$75 I'd only go $100 if it was playing blind, or if it looked like it was fresh from the crate.

Any such website would just serve to inflate prices.

Also, game prices change constantly and are highly variable upon location, condition, functionality and what month it happens to be (seriously).

Here is one (http://cgi.ebay.com/XEVIOUS-ATARI-ROCKS-Awesome-DFW-p-u_W0QQitemZ6204999055QQcategoryZ13716QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) that is complete and 100% working. Looks 100% cosmetically too. Sold for $350.

They vary so much from region to region.  Ultimately they're worth what you're willing to pay.

I've seen half-assed looking Bad Dudes cabs go for 500 bucks on eBay, in California.  I picked up one that looks and plays perfectly for 50 bucks here on the east coast.
