Hi
Bought a jamma cab a month ago and saw it working etc. Transported it home very carefully and put it in my garage . I have just bought my first pcb from a reputable online seller, it arrived today and i inserted it into the cab. Oh dear, i get a screen full of green scrolling rubbish, I can make nothing out on the display and there apears to be no sound.
Am i doing something wrong, or have i been sold a dodgy cabinet or a dodgy board.
Any comments appreciated. My wife is scowling at me considering the number of pairs of shoes she could have bought for the

Well, just to give you relief, not all boards use the exact same monitor rates, so that means sometimes, just sometimes, you have to adjust the Vertical Hold. Do that, and your scrolling should stop. Then you'll be in a better position to see what else is going on...
Did you check the whole cabinet for lose parts, wires, etc before powering up?

how long did you have the machine on?
