Title: Mini-Pac Ctrl-Alt-P question.
Post by: MameJunkie on September 12, 2005, 04:45:18 pm
Think this also applies to normal I-Pac as well.

Anyways, I wasnt able to get any of the programming software to work ( I know Mini-PAC only works with the older software).  I found a old thread talking about Ctrl-Alt-P and what do you know, it is the only way I am able to program my Mini-PAC.

So I'm almost there.  Is there anyway thru the Ctrl-Alt-P method to program the 'shift' keys and the actual 'shift' key itself?

You can program the shift keys by holding down left-shift while assigning the key.

You need the Windows utility to program the shift key itself. Or maybe you can try the DOS utility (IPACUTIL)?

Personally, all I ever use is the command-line test/programming mode. It works really nicely. And my older IPAC is a bit flaky when it comes to the Windows tool.
