This is the coin door on my Jailbreak cab. Does anyone have any idea where it's originally from? The sticker that should be in the middle was taken off long ago.

I can't be 100% sure, but I have the exact same coin door and it was on a Stern Berzerk machine. I have a complete coin mech for that exact door in not bad condition if you want it (have to pay shipping to get it to you). Anyways hope that helps.

Actually, I have the coin mech as well :) Works perfect. The door was on my Jailbreak cab (Stern), but I'm 100% sure the cab wasn't originally Jailbreak. Not sure what it was. Has "Stern" spraypainted up the side, however.
Thanks,

The coin door has stern on it? It doesn't come from a sprecific game, just a manufacturer. Like Midway has a certain style of door they used.

Maybe it's a ba-ba-booey ? :D

A what-what-whooey? :)
The coin door does not say Stern on it. In fact, it doesn't say anything at all on it except "quarter"

I also have the same coin door on my vertical MAME cabinet which started its life as a Stern Super Cobra. I also have the nice red "Stern" down the sides. So undoubtedly it was a Stern game of somesort, though I think they used pretty much the same cabinet for most of their games.

The "stern" coin doors were also quite popular on pinball machines. As a matter of fact they kept the old berserk style door and used it on pinballs for years and years. With the chrome coin slots I'm guessing it's a pinball door, but there's no real way to be sure.

Just curious, does anyone know what sticker/decal went on that coin door where there is that rectangular depression? Mine was cleaned off as well--it would be nice to restore it.

My midway gorf and rally-x cabs both have chrome coin slots and they are the origanel coin doors (or appear to be).

Here are some pics of the internals:

Mine had a sticker that looked like:

The white section was actually clear.
Arcade Renovations used to have a replacement listed for $5. You may want to contact them and see if they still stock them as I can't find them on their site.
