i was gonna get those $400+ monitor from betson or well gander. but i decided that its too pricy so i was thinking about this TV
but one question... how's the picture look on MAME and windows?

Hah! Mine's still in the box. Just got it about a week ago so technically I'm an owner. Wish I could help you, but I'm curious about the same thing. ;D
Seriously though, I did a lot of research on using a TV as a MAME monitor and this model turned up high marks. Apparently the S-video input is good (has much to do with your vid card I suppose), and don't forget that this TV also has component in... so you can mess around with the ATI DVI>Component adapter if you have an appropriate ATI card.
All that being said, it would still be nice to hear from someone besides me on the subject. Heh.

I just got one two weeks ago, and I can say the picture is pretty darn good. I'm using a Grandtec VGA-to-component adapter and there is virtually zero color bleed in games. The windows environment looks fuzzy, but that is to be expected. I'll try and take some pictures in the next couple days and compare to my D9200.
