Post by: lettuce on September 11, 2005, 07:33:46 am
Where does mame32 store its saved key configs for the menus, settings, buttons etc. As i have set the onscreen and menu as the same button and now can get into the in game mame menu screen, im guessing its in the ini folder somewhere??

In the cfg folder (ie: mame/cfg), just like mame.  (Unless you changed your config folder setting, of course. ;) )

Look in default.cfg first, for UI_Configure.  Then check the specific games if that doesn't fix it.

(The easy way is to just delete default.cfg, but if you can figure out what you're doing, editing it by hand saves other changes.)

I usually keep my desktop controller and my PC trackballs on the floor under the desk.  Lots of people keep them inside the cabinet, or I guess in a closet would work also . . . (Wait, wrong forum!)
