Title: UAII monitor Depth..does it matter?
Post by: Ldsfunaz on September 09, 2005, 07:11:36 pm
Im at the stage where i am finally about to build..probably start on monday. my main question is for all you UAII experts is that in the plans is says the monitor depth is only 20 7/16".  I havent really found a TV online that is near that small.

Im not as worried about the width because i can find tvs that can fit.

Does it matter if the tv is deeper than the space allowed, would the tv just stick out the back off the shelf a little bit?

on a side note, whats the deal with the supplemental sheet from the project arcade CD?  theres no instructions for that, or any explanation for that matter...

thanks alot

I'm loosly basing my cab off of UAII design.  My 27" TV is only 19" deep which gives me about 2-3" to play with if i decide to go with a different TV but most of the new flat TVs are ~20" deep.  Here's my work in progress
