Send a PM to Ponyboy, with a list of what you want, and your shipping info.
Just make sure to put Price Quote in the subject line.
That way he knows it's not a firm order.
-
doh... lol is it too late to change my order ponyboy? I know you mentioned it would ship saturday ::)
-
Ponyboy, I'm intrigued and pleasantly surprised that you will be selling the T-Stik Plus. The regular T-Stik is an off the shelf IL item but the T-Stik Plus uses parts custom made for Ultimarc.
I have a few questions.
Will the sleeve under the bat handle match the handle colour as with the Happ Supers, or will it be metallic plastic like the ones sold through Ultimarc?
Would it be possible to supply the joysticks with low activation force cherry microswitches? The ones that normally come with the T-Stik (Crouzet brand) are very stiff and noisy.
-
IL A03551 Magnetic Joystick $19.95 ea.
what is it?
I want to order two t stick plus
but I want to know what a Magnetic joystick is first. ???
I had a drill press once that was magnitic. VERY strong. this has me wondering waht it is about
-
so I'm guessin the balltop is an ultimarc only thing?
man, no clue what a magnetic joy is....
-
There was a suzo joystick review last week or so that used a magnet on the end of the joystck shaft with special detectors on the base of the joystick.
-
The description I received was a magnetic joystick.
-
There was a suzo joystick review last week or so that used a magnet on the end of the joystck shaft with special detectors on the base of the joystick. This way you get silent and no moving parts operation similar to a happs P360 but using a different principle to sense movement.
It could be something different but I'm assuming thats what it is.
EDIT:
Here is the thread of the SUZO stick that might be similar.
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=42066.msg384912#msg384912
I hope it is similar because it could be a really cheap alternative to the suzo.
I'm afraid it's not the same. The IL magnetic joysticks use magnets to generate tension instead of a spring. They still use microswitches for detecting which direction you're pushing in.
-
Just checked it out Grasshopper is correct.
Ponyboy
-
so just to clarify it for me:
When it's comparable to the T stick plus, does that mean 4-8 way switchable from the top?
that what I take as the meaning of "plus" (I could be wrong)
-
Sorry but I'm getting confused ???
"IL A03551 Magnetic Joystick $19.95 ea.
-
any updates?
bumped mostly so i can keep track of the joysticks.
if I let it slip to far back , I will forget about them :-[
-
Please don't forget. I should have the samples by the end of next week. I will take extensive pic's for the joysticks and post.
Thank for your support,
Ponyboy
-
Samples are in. Pic's will be posted tomorrow night Thursday 9/22/05.
Thanks,
Ponyboy
-
Sample is in. Pic's available
Ponyboy
-
Those pics look like the regular T-Sticks... will you be getting in the T-Stick Plus as well?
-
It is. IL is the manufacturer of that stick. I most likely will not carry the other as it has been modified.
Ponyboy
-
I will take a red one.
still have my address?

So how much do you think the inductive Suzo will cost you ? Send me a PM if you're interested. They are at least a LOT cheaper then the P360's.
-
Ponyboy,
Any idea on when these will be available for sale?
Thanks.

They have arrived and they are in stock.
Ponyboy
-
make that 2 red ones for me, please ;D
-
Did I miss something? Is that including shipping? If not, how much?
-
Sorry but $15.95 does NOT include shipping.
Ponyboy
-
No problem. Can you give estimates on shipping if we PM zip code?
Also, wouldn't these allow you to "hack" your control panel to allow them to be switchable from up top? If you don't mind cutting a slot in your CP and attaching some sort of metal rod to the thingy (sorry for the technical term! :-) )

FWIW, Ponyboy seems to ship USPS Priority Mail and he charges you actual shipping.
I'm not sure he's going to provide shipping info for specific requests (because he hasn't in the past), but you can check USPS for prices or just assume it's going to be reasonable... which is probably a safe bet because I think people will agree that, in the past, his shipping has been very reasonable.
my 2-cents
-
Dumb question, but I will ask it anyway.
Will the Ultimarc balltop shafts fit these if I wanted a balltop shaft (albeit not switchable from the top)?
Thx,
-D

So when you switch one of these, do you still feel the corners or does it feel like a diamond shape?
-
*bump* ANYONE KNOW?
