Title: WARDNER I/0 ERROR
Post by: Apollo on September 07, 2005, 04:18:44 am
he he maybe this should be in board discussion, lol

Just bought a non-working Wardner PCB and when I switch it on I get the normal start up jumbled screen thing but then it just comes up with a black screen and the words I/0 error. I'm assuming one of the chips is bad, can anyone tell me where to go from here? Thankyou.

Step 1 is to check to make sure none of your wires to buttons, joysticks, etc are loose, disconnected and possible touching each other causing a short.

Step 2 is to get a multimeter and measure the voltage going to your board (the +5 is the critical one).

Have you made any changes recently? Moved the cab around? Using a different extension cord? etc
