"This is a list of what I am selling right now. Games are located in
Wheeling, Il in a wharehouse, I live in Buffalo Grove,Il( about 15 mins
north of Ohare) Many of these I purchase with the intent of shopping
out or converting to golden tee's or others but I have not had the time
to do so, so I am selling them as is, if you don't think the price is
fair on game or part you are intrested feel free to make an offer. Right
now I will not be shipping any games only parts, I also slammed my
camera in the door of my truck on my way up north on New Year's so

much stop by any time during the day or night, I am still on disability

What's wrong with your phones out there?
If you had a 847 area code and you were calling another 847 number, you would still need to dial 1+847 before the number. :-\

sorry, I just quoted from the message from the newsgroup as google hadn't archived it yet.. so i couldn't just post a link to it..) ...not my stuff..(or my phone number :) )

Thanks for letting us know about this.
I called the guy. He said that was an old post and those cabinets are gone, but he told me he can custom build a cabinet, and/or control panel to fit my needs. The number was a cell phone, and the guy was driving, so he wanted me to call him back.
He sounded like a nice (honest) guy. When I get more details I'll post them.

I've done business with this guy (Jim) before. He is extremely reasonable in pricing and is an overall good guy.
Dartful-
The phone situation in the Chicagoland area SUCKS. Yes, I have an 847 area code and to call my next door neighbor I have to dial 1+847 for the call to go thru. Area code no longer denotes geographic location in our area, thus 224 can be anywhere. My wife just got a new cell and she has a 224 number. I remember 13 years ago they were discussing if fax machines, cell phones, and pagers should have their own area codes - an idea I thought was great. Well someone complained that wasn't fair, so now look at the mess we are in. In 13 years, the area code has gone from 312 to 847 in the burbs, dialing 1+area code when calling outside our area to 1+AREACODE for ALL calls. It's a pain.
.....stepping down from soapbox now.....
Anyway, I can vouch for the validity and quality of Jim's stuff. I'm building a cocktail cab right now and got the buttons, T-Molding, light bulbs for the coin door all from Jim. I've seen his custom built stuff and it is Mint, I think he is a cabinet (like kitchen cabinets) maker by trade. He also has a ton of used machines, either for reconditioning or for sale as is. I found him online at RGVAC and it turns out he's about 8 minutes from my house! Very convenient!

Yah he was kind enough to donate an old berzerk machine for me to MAME -- we spent almost 3 hrs there while he showed us all his stuff--I'm thinking his wife doesn't appreciate his talents enough so he talks to the only other people that know what the hell he is talking about--us;)
