Title: breaking open the coin door?
Post by: jippie on September 04, 2005, 06:16:21 am
Has any one got any ideas on how to break open a coin door with too much damage?

I'm going to replace the current lock(one of those round key ones) with one I do have a key for.

thx

Go in from the back door area and take the nut off the lock arm and take the arm off and the door will open.  I did this with numerous cabs I bought.  It's a pain in the arse, but no damage will be done.  Good luck!

If you can get in the back, that's definately the easiest way, otherwise, I just pick the lock (if it's not a tubular one).

Sometimes a good old flat screwdriver put into the lock and turned sharply will open the door from the front.  That is why so many games have extra bars and locks across the coin door when put out on a route.

or you can just drill out the lock.
