I was just checking over my own logs, and found someone linking to images on my site.
Now, anyone that tries it will find it rather...unpleasant. .htaccess *is* really cool. I even found that I can still allow this site to load images (for the avatar).

The Red X your using currently? The one kinda like mine?
Um...hm...wouldn't have known. It's showing up fine here. I even refreshed so it wouldn't be cached.

Looks like I've got more homework to do on the matter. It had locked up my whole site.

is it just me or is fuddrockers redirecting trafic to google?
-
They are sort of redirecting. Redirecting usually means that your site has a message that tells a browser to go to another site. What FR is doing is somewhat different. They actually changed their IP address in the DNS system.
This is dumb because even though it looks like google, it isn't and it doesn't actually work. Click the groups link and you will see that it doesn't work.
So they compunded what sort of looks like theft, with something that looks like theft done incompetantly.

Fuddruckers took the link down. Somebody had to stop vacationing on Saturday.

Actually, it *is* Google, and most of the functions work. Just the URLs that aren't on the FR site won't actually work.

You're right, it is google. But it isn't a redirect.
Since they didn't redirect, all the relative links are broken.
