Title: HANTAREX POLO 25" LINE PROBLEM
Post by: gav19 on September 02, 2005, 04:05:59 am
HI GUYS

I HAVE A HANTAREX POLO 25" MONITOR THAT IS 2 YEARS OLD AND HAD LESS THAN <10 HOURS USE. EVERYTHING WAS OK THE LAST TIME I USED IT 1 YEAR AGO. MY GAME CABINET HAS JUST COME OUT OF STORAGE AND I HAVE WITH HORIZONTAL LINES AT THE TOP 3RD OF THE SCREEN. THE LINES ARE ONLY APPARENT WHEN LIGHT COLOURS ARE DISPLAYED. IT SEEMS OK WITH DARK IMAGES.

Try adjusting your veritcal size pot. You are looping back over when redrawing the screen.

Hi dabone

Adjusted the vertical size pot, that has fixed the problem with the white text displayed at the top of the screen "FREE PLAY"

The Jail bars are still there though, any pointers would be a great help

Thanks

i have run the following tests on the monitor -

flipped the image -
**Result** - lines now appear on the bottom

redused the image to 50 % of the screen size-

**Result** lines reduce to the same size as the image

**Concluison**
These lines are being intraduced to the image as its being processed.

I have a scope and meter for testing but dont have a circuit diagram of the model to investigate deeper.

i can offer my help on any HP/epson/roland/KM  large format printers in return for any help.

THANKS IN ADVANCE
