For those of you that have a D9200 and a Happs 27" monitor bezel, when you put the bezel in place against the fron of the monitor, what is the distance from the fron of the bezel (where the glas would lay against the bezel back to the glass of the monitor. I'm trying to add the final design to my cabinet and need to know this distance.
Thanks,
John

John,
I think I understand your question... however the distance varies because the monitor glass is curved... so the answer is not quite that simple.
You need to determine how you will be mounting the monitor first... I used slikstik brackets... so my numbers would be based upon my particular installation method...
How are you planning to mount your monitor??

Mounting makes no difference. That is what I'm trying to figure out. If you took a Happ's 27" bezet and set it on top of the tube, touching the glass (the contors are slightly different so it will probably tounch in the four corners) what is the distance from the face of the bezel, where the lezan would rest, to the monitor tube (in the dead center, in other words, at the least distance point).
Thanks,
John

You need 3.5 inches from the back of the mounting flange to the "top" of the frame the plastic bezel sits on.
I have an example on my web site of how I did this.

In the image above, the monitor attaches to the "monitor frame assembly".
