Post by: arcadefever on August 30, 2005, 04:30:25 pm
hi evrybody,
i'm restoring a lethal enforcers arcade i've the pcb arts, and the cab i just got 2 guns new on ebay and they're from (betson imperial) when i plug them to the pcb and try the trigger work but it look like the sensor is not working with the monitor.
usually lethal enforcers use 4 pins konami gun is it possible that the one i've are not compatible ?
it is only 4 pins conector that what the pcb have it should work maybe some wire to invert ?
i've the manual of the game home but dont have the guns manual so i dont really know what wire is what

blue=optical signal
white=trigger
red =+5
black = ground

It is a four pin connector on that game, it should be fine. Are you seeing a white flash on the screen when you fire the gun? If so you know the switch is working. If you are trying to test it make sure you have the back door on. I'm not sure if you have a dedicated cab or not. If so make sure the mirror & glass are clean. Clean the monitor as well. If that fails try turning up the contrast or bright to see if that helps. Also make sure you aren't testing it in a bright area..... someplace with the sun shining in. Also make sure the lens on the gun is clean..... that's a starting point anyway.
