I will sit with a 12 pack of Molson XXX, a bowl of real bacon strips, and my new toy (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6367853774&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1).
I love 3D movies. I love zombies and evil clowns. I think this lot was custom designed for me.
Zombies and evil clowns in 3D, with strong Canadian beer and bacon.

-
I did. It is probably cheesy but how can you pass up zombies and evil clowns in 3D?
-
You can't.
-
I will report my results when the orgy has been completed.
I will probably post a picture of my beer and bacon, too.
-
Now I need 3D porn.

Because the first time you have to duck out of the way of a giant black schlong will be a really bad day of 3D.
Well, here you go.
1. Porno company releases 3D porn.
B. Chad's scenario plays itself out.
III. Guy jumps out of way- cracks head on wall.
d. Guy sues porno company.
5 (THREE SIR!). Gawd Bless 'Murica.

OH there's an Elvira movie in that lot! Guess which part is 3D?
-
Look through the seller's other items. They have an IR version.
-
They shouldve put "killer clowns from outer space" on that.
-
The movie has to be MADE in 3D.

And here I thought it was magic. How about Amityville 3D? I remember seeing that one in the theaters, scared the bacon out of me.

If the DVD has the 3D version on it, I'll check it out.
I recently saw Shark Boy and Lava Girl, what a hunk of crap plopped into ramen with manwich sauce.

they had a version of killer clowns in 3D

If they did, and it is out on DVD, I will watch it and report back.

They should have put that on the posters. It's probably the best review that movie got.

I have to wait for the kids to go to bed. I did try it out a little bit, and the glasses are a bit flimsy. Lucky for me I have a pair of these (http://assembler.roarvgm.com/laseractive_goggles/laseractive_goggles.html) lying around. The LA goggles give a sharper, but darker, picture, and are built like a tank. They'd better be for the hundreds of dollars they sold for when new.
It does give the TV picture some depth. Nothing comes out of it but you get some noticable Z depth going. The flashing rate with this little device isn't perfectly synced and you get a little ghosting. The movies are hella low budget, but other cool 3D DVDs should work with it too. I'm hoping the 3D Elm Street movie works with it.
It's cheesy, and the cord is a pain, but it's totally worth the $25 I paid. It's all in good research for future development plans I have.

Is this teaser all you're willing to disclose at this time?

Do a quick search in the monitor forum for a thread with the title "Asteroids Monitor". Some of the discussion has taken place there... it's all very conceptual at this point, but my research has definitely started. This was some of it.
I'm a little underwhelmed with the LCD shutter performance, but I don't know yet if it is this little cheap converter, the cheap glasses, or what. I have to learn the concepts behind this technology. The far more expensive LA goggles did perform much better, though the LCD was darker when dark and therefore it took much of the brightness from the picture.
I think next up is a couple of 3D SMS games, then the LCD adapter for the Vectrex and 3D Minestorm. Maybe one of the 3D games for the LaserActive, as well.
