I'm betting the description is quite generous.

I should get one and run a virtual Boy emulator on it.

I once tried out "Heretic" using what were called "i-Glasses" (1995?)

It's pretty cool. Not exactly immersive, since you see a rectangular screen in front of you.

I also tried another brand in '99 that was in true 3D. That was pretty cool! And it worked via Direct3D so just about any game would work.

Can't find the thread.  Did a search on all forums for "IGlasses" and only turned up this thread and one in the main forum talking about "PlexIGlasses".  Got a link?

Found the thread.  This (http://assembler.roarvgm.com/laseractive_goggles/laseractive_goggles.html) isn't what you're talking about, is it?

Yeah, that was the heavier set I used... I had those on hand already, though.  That's not what came with the set.
