Got a hurricane (category 1) (75MPH) coming right over my house basically.

If you get blown away, just follow the yellow brick road.

You are running out of time man. Forget the green wall and go buy a kite.

Forget the hurricane. You should be more worried about that big green thing.

If you only have a small amount of bacon left then you should probably eat it right now.

If you have large amounts of bacon left then you should put it in a cooler (with ice), then duct tape the cooler closed, then put the cooler down in the basement, with several ropes attaching the cooler to various permanent fixtures in the basement.

This should keep your bacon from being lost during the hurricane.

What a horrible disaster it was, i was without power for almost an hour.  :)

There were a few reports that 4 people died because of trees falling on them though.  :'(

Any time it looks even remotely like the power might go out I make sure at least one of my handhelds has a full charge. If the power goes out, I'm not doing without my video games. :)

I keep my laptop fully charged for similar reasons. If the power stays out for long periods then I can go out to the RV and kick on the generator to recharge the laptop (a terrible waste of power using a 50 AMP generator to charge a laptop).

it's not a terrible waste of power as long as your logging on to the BYOAC forums........
