Title: Any other fun Pac-man type games?
Post by: javeryh on August 24, 2005, 03:51:47 pm
OK, I'm in the very beginning stages of building a mini cab for my daughter and I want to start her off with some simple vertical games like pac-man.  The games I'm putting in there so far are:

Pac-Man
Ms. Pac-Man
Jr. Pac-Man
Super Pac-Man and
Pac-Man Plus

Are there any other good Pac-Man games out there that you play - they could be hacks or whatever - I'm just looking for something fun.  Thanks!

Nibbler is pac man like.  You are a snake and you eat the dots and grow.
Ladybug is another

you may not give her enough credit, she may be able to play more advanced games unless you don't want her to. especially if it's a 2 player cab, co-op games could work out too.

dwidel has done some cool PacMan hacks...I'm not sure where to find them tho other than a search at the MameWorld forums (EmuAdvice, Mame Chat or Loony Bin I expect).

yeah, I know but she's only 11 months and can't even talk or walk yet so I don't want to get ahead of myself.   ;D  By the time I'm finished building this cab though she might be ready for high school at the rate I'm going...

Thanks for the suggestions and keep 'em coming!!  I tried Nibbler last night and I ended up playing that stupid game for an hour when I should have been sleeping.  Is there a reason it is so tough to control though? - it seems way too fast...
