Wow, I love the J Geils Band because they had a lot of good music in my teenage years during the 80's (re: Freeze frame, My Angel is a Centerfold) and now I love them even more.
I found some of their older "live" music and its just GREAT. Very Bluesy and Kudos to whoever is playing the hamonica...
This albumn rocks!

A kid in my 2nd grade class got suspended from school for wearing J Geils shirt to school that said Piss On The Wall.
What I wonder, thinking back, is why they made a youth S sized shirt that said that.

and strangely the array of cards on that graphic does not equal a 'full house'
-
Resolution is too low here for me to see... isn't it three jacks and two kings?
-
it looks like the card to the right is a queen
-
Yeah, it's definitely not the king of hearts, that's the one that stabs himself.
-
You're right, 3 Jacks and 1 King and 1 Queen....Hmmmm...Interesting
Here is a better picture..
-
Could that represent the band members?
-
5 cards, 6 Band Members, no females, don't think that is it. Maybe they're just messin with us...
Don't you just love the look of these guys...
-
Perhaps that's just an optimistic potential full house. Too long for an album name though. :(

Maybe one of the guys is gay.

My Angel is a Centerfold... sorry, kind of anal about song titles.
Yeah, so, um, the J. Geils Band, huh? I used to refer to the Spin Doctors as the the J. Geils Band with severe head trauma.

A brief, don't know how accurate, biography here:
http://www.mp3.com/j.-geils/artists/62632/biography.html
That amazing blues harmonica was "Magic Dick" Salwitz. According to this biography they worked together in many incarnations from 1965 on.
I saw them live a couple of times in the late 70's/early 80's definitely one of the best party bands ever!
Rock On! ARCADIAC!

Yeah, so, um, the J. Geils Band, huh?

Heh heh heh... Magic Dick.
