Title: Another hole in my memory..name that game ?
Post by: Level42 on August 22, 2005, 03:22:31 pm
Guys, I remember playing a racing game quite recent (late 90's), the default car was a mini-cooper (Miniwah maybe you know ? ;) ) but I think you could choose other cars too. The (first/easy/default) track was Monaco (or monaco like...) going up and downhill and you could take shortcuts etc.
I remember sometimes driving through a Shell petrol station (and sometimes crashing into the sign)...

I'm sure someone comes up with a name here  ;D

And, is there a DC conversion ;) ??

Thx

OH! OH! OH! Yes, and wasn't there a bomb mode too? And you had to make use of a handbrake for those real tight corners. Was super fun multi-player.

Hell I cannot remember the name!

Bingo !!! Thx RayB.

That also explains why I didn't find it on KLOV, I thought it was a Sega game :)

Indeed, I played the bomb mode once, kinda strange, can't remember exactly anymore, think you drove with two cars against eachother on a big flat surface...can't remember really. Indeed handbraking was absolutely neccesary for the tight corners :).....very nice game.  Shame it doens't work on mame....
