Title: wich to choose 19" pc monitor or 20" tv w/ S video

hi I am starting to plan my next project. i have decided to go with a 20 " TV with s video or a 19" PC monitor . I have heard people argue as to which is better. Allot of people say that a TV produces a picture closer to an actual arcade monitor. I am concerned

It depends on what you want to do.  If you're going to be doing anything in Windows, then forget the TV.

If you're going to be playing any XY monitor-type games, I'd also stay away from the TV (my opinion).

Long story short, I'd go with the PC monitor and use scan-lines.

Me too.

I am a big vector fan.
TV's and arcade monitors just don't cut it for vector games.

You can always make the PC output look worse, to closer resemble the arcade monitor.
You can't make the TV look better though.
