Title: Bad Microswitch?
Post by: the3eyedblindman on August 20, 2005, 02:40:55 pm
Ok, I have started wiring my control panel to an ipac 4, and for some reason the down on my 8 way switch wont work. I have a 4 way balltop wired to the same terminal, and the down switch on that one works.... I have rewired it 3 times now and the down switch on the 8 way still wont work, while it does on the 4 way, and all the other buttons do too. I have made sure the switch gets hit, and it does, so the only conclusion i can make is its a bad microswitch, what do you think? Can you replace them on a joystick?

Of course you can replace them.

Swap one of the other micros on the joystick to the down position just to check it.  If it's a bad micro, just order a new one
