Title: Old Orchard Beach, Maine
Post by: ChadTower on August 19, 2005, 01:39:20 pm

Looks like in a few weeks I'm going to be heading up there for a football game.  I know there's a pretty good amusement park in Old Orchard Beach... anyone know about the arcade?  Many classics?

I was there last in 1981. My mother on the other hand was there just last month.

She said that of the 4 huge arcades they used to have in the 80's they now still have 3 open, and that they are usually fairly busy.

Now the question is, what do they have in there? I couldn't tell ya. My mom being my mom, she doesn't know much about games. For all I know they might now be full of "coin pushers" and crap like that. But who knows.

1983 family vacation was the last time I was there (as a ripe 13 year old).  Great arcade from what I remember.  Sorry that my info is not current ChadTower.  Just a week before I spent a couple of days in Laconia NH (Wiers Beach every night).  Great "arcade" vacation.  Did not mind visiting my realitives in NH and ME in those years!
