I am using MameWah's Resolution tool to set up ini files for my roms. I have a 3 CP cocktail cab and I want to get vertical and horizontal games to run correctly. I really can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. The first time I ran the tool all the ini's had the -rol command even horizontal games. After that I deleted all ini files and now all I get in the ini's is my resolution of 640x480. Which is what I want but I can't seem to get the vertical games to have the -rol command. This program seems pretty straight forward and works fast but I'm sure I'm leaving off something. Any body got any advice on this one?
Much thanks,

If I understand correctly I think you need to set the monitor option up for 'Rotating'. The principal on your cab is the same as a rotating monitor setup, except you are the one moving and not the screen!

Hey thanks for the reply. I believe that I have it set right. I have the rotation set to both, and the option to rotate left checked. Is there something I'm missing. The first time I ran your program I got the rol in ever ini and now I can't get it in any of them. I know my mame is using the mame.ini files b/c when I ran the games all games were rotated left. Any ideas?
It could be a bug...I don't have a vertical or rotating screen setup so that hasn't had much testing ::)
Not sure what to suggest really. I suppose you could set 'autorol 1' and 'resolution auto' in your mame.ini file, and use the Res Tool to create ini's for horizontal games only. Then vertical games would be rotated, and resolution would be set by mame...at least this should get it working for you.
