I went to gamestop and they were selling a box of plastic screen protectors for 10.00. the box only has two..
10 bucks for two paper 2"x4" .015" thin sheets of plastic?!
surely there must be a cheaper solution than this.. a way to buy this stuff in bulk and cut it yourself.
something thats perhaps used for touch screens.
no way am i going to pay 10 dollars for 2 cents in poly.

Ask a guy at your local Everything Mart retailer (ie. walmart, target, etc.) and ask if they'll give you a couple of those sheets they put on the thing that you sign when using your credit card. When I worked at target, we used them a lot to prevent people from scratching the machines' screens(People actually try to use a real pen instead of the stylus!). There's a good chance the cashier won't mind, and you can just cut to fit.

i went out and i paid the 10 bucks for the screen protectors..
sure as ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- the thing has a weird tecture to it that causes an interference pattern to appear and make the screen ugly as hell to look at.
im pissed, i thought they were supposed to be transparent..
the layer of plastic you peel the protector off of was clearer and more suited to the job than the piece you actually use..
Pissed...and ten bucks lighter..
at least it came witha microfiber cloth..
