okay im booting from mamewah (if that helps any) and i goto run a mame game and i get sound, just no video...
does anyone have any ideas why this is happening. i have the skip disclaimer and yadda yadda on, so it goes straight to the game, and i can hear the demo sounds, when i hit the token button. but the screens completely black. im wanting to think that its something to do witht he mame.ini file and the resolution its running at. but i dont know, im running from a geforce4 onto a 27" tv with svideo to rca.
hopefully someone knows whats going on...

Run MAME from a commandline to check it works OK before attempting to run it from a FE.
