Is it possible to take a Neo Geo 1 slot PCB and with the cartridge connector from another one slot... wire it up as a 2 slot PCB?
I doubt it but figured i would run it by you guys. 8)

I don't think I understand what you want to do. If you want to take a cart connector from a one slot board and add it to another one slot board and make a two slot board, I can't imagien how that would work. Where are you going to solder the second slot?

I would fabricate some kind of holder to keep everything in place
.
A miracle of engineering would do it. That said, I suspect you'd be better off buying a 2 slot PCB.
Would the board recognize that there are 2 carts pluged in and would they both switch to one another with a button press?
It just seems much less expensive then buying a 2 slot when i have everything i need already, but do i want to risk ruing 1 or even 2 of my boards.

The miracle would be designing a circuit that handled the switching between cart slots, getting it properly soldered into the appropriate traces, and then doing it in a way that doesn't break if you breathe on it.
Spend the extra small bit of cash and buy a 2 slot. The way you want to do it would cost an experienced EE guy dozens of hours.

That's not what I meant. You could keep everything in place with a bag of cement if it came to that. I meant where are you going to solder the cart slot to the board. It's not like there's an extra unused cart footprint on the board.

Or a controller circuit for switching between cart slots.
