I have been working through some issues with setting up a new A-Pac. I still have problems with controls working in games. (Mame32 0.94) For some reason the analog axises don't seem to be responding in games. I have gone into the game specific control setup and the controls show that J1 X is assigned to a movement but there is a very sporadic response in the game. For example in Champ Sprint, pressing the pedal repeatedly only gets the car moving in spurts. It never responds like a pedal should. The POT is good because I see the correct movement in the Cal screen.
I tested Mame Analog XP with the exact same control settings in games and I did have proper pedal response to the J1 X axis but seemed to introduce more problems because my Rom's are 0.94 and AnalogXP is older.
Any Ideas where to look for trouble?
