http://www.pspupdates.com/2005/08/confirmed-windows-linux-run-on-psp.html

Slashdot article:

BOCHS (An open-source x86 emulator) has been porteed to Sony PSP.  This means any x86-capable software and/or OS can now run on PSP.

FreeDOS, MSDOS, BSD/Linux, and even Windows 95.  No word yet on either speed nor graphics accelleration.  But it does mean native x86 MAME is now available for PSP (as far as it existing, but not being terribly useful just yet).  Interesting times ahead...

this could open up a whole new set of external storage options via USB without the need for "on the go".

oh man, it's gonna be sooo slow.  The Mac has had X86 emulators forever and they were/are wholly worthless for any kind of gaming.  Cool idea and execution though!

I need Win95 on my PSP like I need a hole in my head.
