Title: hard drive spinner hack?

i just heard of hard drive spinner hack and tried it my own using my dead maxtor 80 gb HD but no luck it only spins good one way.

what's good cheap old hd to kill for it?

search for the "nasty spinner", there is a specific suggestion for what dead HD's to use.
