Mate, that's way too long to read. Do you have a short version?

Why are you so afraid of bats?  They're cute.  They look like little kiwi fruit with wings.

To me, the funny part is a full grown man being afraid of a bat that weighs a few ounces.

I love bats. In the summer we have a really serious mosquito problem where I live. Bats eat gazillions of mosquitos. I'd never kill a bat.

Yes, see it at an IMAX theater if you can.  Best one EVER.  :)

I had a couple bats in my house as a kid.  My dad caught one and stuck it in a jar with holes in the lid.  I took it to show and tell the next day.  Then the high school science class asked me if they could study it.  I never understood why I never got the bat back.....

I just saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the IMAX on Sunday.  I LOVE the IMAX.

On the subject of bats...

I was doing some remodeling of a barn that was being converted into a home for a friend of a friend right...  Well, one day we got there and we saw something fly by realy fast above the "dining room"  where it's open above head to the second floor.  So there's almost 20 feet to the ceiling and this thing's flying back and forth occasionally diving down.  I grab the only thing I see that I might be able to do something with which happened to be a 12 foot piece of 1x3 strapping and start flapping it back and forth in the air.  Woulda never thought that I'd be able to hit this thing but guess what, I did.  It went splat, all over the wall, then the floor...  :-X

It was pretty gross.  I picked it up with a couple scrap pieces of wood, threw it out the back door and proceded to clean up after the disgusting creature, which I must say, was not so fun as the initial splat.

That's my story.
