Title: Wells Gardner K7500 Any Thoughts

I'm thinking of using this monitor in my cab. It is classified as an EGA "Mid-resolution" monitor.

It's 25".

Will this monitor run at only 15 Khz?

Can I run Windows at 640 X 480? (I'd like to run other emulators as well as MAME and I need windows functionality for this. I'm not sure If I need to use a vga type monitor for this scenario such as the Wells D9200.

I am looking for as close to arcade perfect as possible. (Isn't everyone)

Any thoughts or comments on using this monitor?

well,whats the plan?
how you are planing windows in arcade monitor.
i have k7400 through scan converter and result is very arcadish(I LOVE ;D).
I bought scan converter because i have no idea how to get windows with software and other things but if you do plan on getting scan converter then i dont think mid resolution would work.only 15 khz works with scan converter i believe(atleast the one i have now).

Will this monitor run windows using the not yet released video card from Ultimarc?

i dont know any other way then scan converter unless you can wait...for the VGA arcade monitor video card..yes it runs windows perfectly with my scan converter..did you happend to catch any pics lately..go here
