Hey Goz,

Wish I had know you were going to be selling those DC VGA's, Ive just bought a used  one  :(

Is there any reason that you have two, is one better than the other? I think mine is more like the 1st one you listed.

Franco,

With my current project yet to be named. I have a Dreamcast, Xbox, Gamecube, PS2 and likely a MAME system all in the same cab. With the way that I've wired it I have two switches to through one to select the controller and one for audio/video. The cab has a hi-res arcade monitor that accepts VGA. I had originally planned on using VGA as the  output from the consoles, but this would have forced me to also employ a KVM (that would be 3 switched I would need to through in order to switch between consoles). I came up with a solution that takes the composites from all of the consoles and outputs to a very clear VGA. Because of this I have Dreamcast VGA's and a X2VGA adapter for sale. I had two DC's though because I had misplaced one and I rushed and bought another. I'm a compulsive buyer... which is why I often have stuff in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum.

PS - The DC VGA adapters are comparable and both work fine with lightguns and VGA monitors.

take note.  the first dreamcast VGA adapter is the easy one to make it plug into an arcade monitor.  Its just cutting one wire (or what I did was break it and bring the switch to the outside of the box.

So anyone interested in hooking their dreamcast to an arcade monitor should consider it.

Hacked for what?

Hacked for what?

Sorry for the generaliztion.

They are Dreamcast controllers that have been decased and wires very cleanly soldered and afixed to the controllers for the purpose of wiring to a control panel (joystick + 6 buttons). All leads are very clearly labled and would take a matter of minutes to wire to a CP.
