For those of us that admire the military, and don't understand much about the ranks, what does that mean? Are you an officer? Is officer a cuss word? ;D
Congrats BTW.

A word to the wise... enlisted men don't like being called "sir".

If you're not up on the military rank structure, do a little research. Basically, I'm transitioning from the Airman corps, to the NCO corps, a huge step.

Then everyone read the wiki link :) and about.com link. I just posted the marine link because I have that bookmarked for when a cousin of mine reports her status.
"SSgts are expected to be technically proficient and function as first-line supervisors within a workcenter."
What is a "workcenter"?

So is an airforce staff seargeant an E-5 or an E-6? I know it is an E6 in the army.

Pretty cool dude, have you ever thought of making a MAME F16. ;D
-
Awesome, thank you for your service. I appreciate it. Stay safe.
-
Thanks guys. I honestly wasnt expecting this much gratitude from this thread.
As for MAMEing an F-16, I'm now looking at designing a sit-down cockpit cab of some type. Maybe a racer cab, maybe a flight sim, maybe a combination of both. Its going to have to be put off for a year+ since I'm leaving this base in June of next year and dont know as of this moment where I'll be assigned next. I seriously doubt I'll be able to complete anything more than a few sketches between now and then.
