Dumb-arses?

They seem pretty far from dumb to me.

And if greed is good, their motives are pure.

um, it was a joke. normally people commit crimes and then run away TO Brazil because of their extradition laws...

Holy Crap that is a lot of money. That would be a cool movie. Sucks that it happened for real. How do you clean all that money? Makes you wonder what the brains behind that were thinking and if it was committed by one of those that ran to Brazil. Yeah that's a movie.

Other than happening in Brazil, this sunds a lot like the plot to "The LadyKillers". The original starring Sir Alec Guiness was much better than the Tom Hanks remake.

actually a similar robbery happened in france in the 70s ( i think). they also made off with a lot of dough although only one of them got away. he is suspected of running to brazil naturally...
