I bought some replacement mechs from Happ that accept both $0.25 quarters and .984 tokens.

You just pop the standard mechs out of our coin door and replace with these and wha la. (I haven't tried em yet as I haven't built my cabinet)


Or you could go the BYOAC method and modify your existing mechs per the above post.  I knew I would wreck my mechs tho, since I have no experience with that stuff.

It's probably not what you want to do, but since my coin door didn't come with any mechs I just "rigged" it up with a couple chutes and microswitches so that it accepts anything...quarters, tokens, pennies, washers, etc.  No one knows this but me, and it's funny to watch friends come over to play and pull out a handful of change, searching for a quarter to put in there.
