Title: Marquee and Sideart
Post by: SteveJ34 on April 30, 2002, 09:49:47 pm
I am almost complete with mame cab which started as 3 sheets of MDF and a box from Happs and Hagstrom.

What remains is marquee, front glass, and perhaps some sideart.

I have been searching for the last couple of weeks for MAME logo which i can somehow get to a 8x26 size for sandwiching between two pieces of lexan.

Any pointers to something already generated that is close to this size at high res or suggestions on how to got about getting there would be wonderful.

Several have made reference via chat room that this should be easy to find on mame.net or mameworld.net but alas, I must be blind as I have not found what i am looking for.

I have gotten this far but must admit i am no graphics artist so if someone could help shed a little light on how to create what i am looking for, it would be greatly appreciated.

I would even consider payment for services rendered should someone care to undertake such a project.

Here's a link to what I am looking for from the examples page:

http://home.carolina.rr.com/rmartinko/mame.htm

I have written the author of this but he indicates on his page that he is not interested in making his art available to others.

Thanks in advance for any assistance someone may be able to provide.

Steve

Yes!

These are exactly what I recall seeing before and the current sizing may just fit what I need exactly seeing as I'm trying to fill 8 x 26 and these rea reported at 8 x 28.

Thank you very much.
