I went to my first arcade auction today and picked up a twin eagle II for $35. The monitor displays everything in red though. I started messing with the knobs and I can now get it to display in blue, green, purple or red but it will not use all of the colors at once. I dont think it is just displaying red I think everything just has a severe red tint. This seemed to be a common problem with the games at the auction. Is this a easy fix? Its a 25" monitor Im going to try to find a model number and get some pics. I did test the board with another cab and it worked fine so its probably the monitor.

well I got the model number & a pic of what its doing. I bought this game not expecting to be able to fix the monitor but If I can that would be great and If it needs a cap kit I think this one would be a good one for my first try at installing them.
its a wells gardner model #25k5501
and heres a pic of what its doing

Could be a weak picture tube (may need rejuvenation). Could be neckboard pots are out of adjustment or neckboard resistor need resoldering.

what do you mean by tube rejuvination? Im new to arcade monitors. As far as adjusting any knobs (pots?) Ive tried that.

Looks like the green gun is not operating. Might be the tube, but usualy isn't. check all the wires feeding the Green signal to the neck PCB. Also check the tube socket solderings. Lightly tap against the neck PCB and see if you see lines changing or maybe even the green coming back (temporarely).
Hope this will help....
