Anyone have an old 19 inch pc monitor that works. Will pay, not a ton though, ill take it off someones hands, gonna make mini cab out of it. Thanks. 17 inch will also be acceptable. Anyone?

Where you're located is going to be crucial to this. You're not going to want to ship a monitor cross-country, even if its free... it just won't be worth it.

packed well, lots of padding, packed in tight... Im willing to take a risk.

expect to pay close to $50 for shipping then.. that was my point.
You can find free/dirt cheap ones if you tell us where you are.

I would try the Goodwill near you.
I picked up an excellent condition Sylvania 19" for $20 a couple months ago.
They had 3 or 4 other ones at the time, as well.
Alot of people are upgrading to 17" flat-panels, and can't get rid of their 19" CRTs, so they go off to the Goodwill.
Garage sales, ebay, and classifieds are other good sources.
Just make sure you set the search radius in ebay's "advanced search" to however far you're willing to drive.

Also, check the Ma and Pop type computer places. Sometimes they will have used or refurbished Dell Trinitrons or what not for a good price (and sometimes with a short warranty).
