Title: Announcing Jessicade ! New Control Panel Added !

I've finally got round to uploading some piccies of my cab - take a look and let me know what you think !

The cab is a hybrid Lucid with UAII style (using guesswork on dimensions rather than buying the plans)

Cab runs Windows XP, Mamewah (for mame and daphne), TV connected via VGA-SCART Cable

All controls are Ultimarc

Except the Oscar spinner

the cab is named after my daughter (14 months old at time of writing)

Its been a lot of fun !

Currently designing a new CPO and CP as I decided I didn't like the "wings" of the large CP I have now.

he he he - thanks for all the comments guys (and JS).

Need to get my sh*t together and finalize the CPO before taking it to work to get printed and laminated. It will be at a University media shop as I work nearby and they seem pretty cheap. If it's rubbish then hopefully I won't have wasted too much money ! :)

Done a fair few updates to the blog since my last post :


Hopefully next weekend I will start on the new CP - the print quality of my CPO is superb. I'm very happy with the laminate too. Might not be for the purist but I like it !

Still need to do some touching up with the paint but not looking too bad !

I like the color scheme on your CP.  Especially the buttons.

Cheers Timoe. I spent a long time, too long in fact, deciding on the colours. The orange buttons were originally for pinball buttons on the side of the CP but I eventually used them for mouse buttons instead.

Next up the the list is getting the lightgun(s) working. But I'm toying with the idea of getting some old car speaker covers and painting them (red outer and yellow over the speaker mesh) - which I think would look cool and in "theme" as it were.

Then of course is the bezel.....

And maybe some side art .....

And doing the whole paintwork AGAIN ....
