Title: WTB 22"-27" Monitor [US-NC]
Post by: kickngas on August 05, 2005, 03:59:20 pm
I am looking to replace my 27" TV with a computer/presentation monitor.  I would like a 27", but it may be way too large to fit in my cab.  A 22" monitor is another option.

What's your zip code? I'm not close, but I can help you look for something close to you.

There are these:
27" monitors on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/PENTRANIC-1127-27-COLOR-ARCADE-GAME-VIDEO-MONITOR_W0QQitemZ6198594867QQcategoryZ13718QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
Not close, but pretty cheap so might still be ok after shipping. they use BNC connectors, though.

If you want VGA or better, though, I'll have to broaden my search.

Alan,
I have seen those on Ebay, the shipping alone would probably kill me!  Do you know much about this monitor?  I will have to search the forums to see if there is any info on them.

Thanks

I don't know much about them, personally, but I don't think there's that much to know. Other than the fact that they are BNC, they should be pretty straight forward. I will continue to look.

Those monitors appear to be composite input monitors.  They are missing at least one BNC for them to be RGB.

I wouldn't expect them to be much better than a TV set, if at all.
