Title: Best place to wire Iso in Centipede cab?
Post by: rchadd on August 05, 2005, 06:40:39 am
I have now rewired my centipede cab to have an original harness rather than the jamma wiring that was in there previously.

The only thing i need to do now is wire up the isolation transformer and we are all systems go.

I need advice on best place to take the 240VAC from (im in UK!) for the iso's input?

I thought about tapping off at the on/off switch - but figured that would mean that the monitor would be powered even though the interlock switches were triggered (backdoor or coindoor were open). figure that is not a good idea.

any advise on alternative place on centipede harness i can take off the power for the isolation transformer?

or maybe taking power from the on/off switch is best option after all?

You using original parts or no?

Consult the original schematics and perhaps imitate their sequence of wiring?
