Just ordered some chrome T-molding to redo my mame machine and I am very happy with their service. 3 days for door to door delivery! Not a bad price either. I tried out all of their samples first and then ordered. If your bored and want to give your machine a new look, order some free samples and try them out....

I went throug them when I re-did both my MAME cabs, and you're right, they do have great service. My only complaint is that they get more slotted router bits in. The've been out of stock for some time now and its next to impossible to buy one out where I live. ::)
-
I've used them for international ordering, and was quite surprised at how fast the stuff arrived. I'll certainly be ordering again for my next project.
-
I must admit, the chrome tmouding is pretty sweet. I got my 1.5mm (1/16") slotter from tooledup.com. They are UK based but I assume they will ship internationally. It was expensive though, nearly

My only complaint is they don't have the fluorescent T-molding
-
I've had excellent service from them as well.

I get all my Tmolding from them.

Just wanted to chime in with my praises as well, I actually just ordered some more t-molding from them this morning. I was in vegas last december, and since I was there I bought a bunch of t-molding from happs (since I was there I didn't have to pay shipping). The difference in quality is pretty big, I really didn't like the stuff from happs at all (it had a weird surface too, not nicely rounded and smooth, but it had like a weird bump goind down the middle). At any rate, I will only be buying from t-molding.com from now on.
-
So.....either does www.t-mold.com suck or does no-one knows this other supplier ??
-
i dont understand this site u can get free samples and just use those like u can order 150 free samples
-
c'mon now...you can't possibly do that...the end result would look like horse puckey. I ordered the samples for deciding which one I wanted and to see if the molding fit tight enough. I am into the short cuts, but believe me, you don't want to skimp on the continuous run of t-molding.

Hahaha, and put up all different kind of colours.....nice for a punk-theme cab....but I guess they won't send you THAT much samples !
-
I got samples of all colors of 3/4'' tmouldin to see which one I liked best..
-
Sure, but that's not 150 right ?
And not enough length for one cab I bet

I have ordered from them, and their service was very good as well. Received my order in 4 days (including a weekend). Good quality T-molding, too.

Since T-molding.com was out of slotted router bits, I had to go with their competitor, T-mold.com. I'll let you guys know how they turn out.
-
I have been using T-mold.com for the past year... There service is fast, their selection is better, they are cheaper on orders after shipping costs are added, they take credit cards and PayPal.
I don't need to say anymore... I know where to buy mine.
Best regards,

bought from them a few times. I have nothing but good thing to say about them.

They make you pay for shipping?

I will not use t-mold.com because of your posting that are less than honest.
I agree 100%. If a company has to get customers by lying to them so they can con customers into buying from them, then that's a company I want nothing to do with.
I'll be sure and tell everybody I know that Greg Stievenart of t-mold.com is a liar and I personally would never do buisness with him

Totally Glame!!!!
Anyway.. I used t-molding.com a few times. They were just swell.
-
Lol, you've got to admire his chutzpah though. Only two posts and both of them extolling the virtues of T-Mold.com!
If he'd hidden his email address and done a few dummy posts on other subjects he'd probably have got away with it.
-
They make you pay for shipping? Wow, doesn't sound like a good place for you to work. I'm surprised that you can't place your order and carry it home.
A whois lookup shows that he most likely owns t-mold.com.
you don't even need a whois lookup. Check his email on this site... it goes right to a domain that redirects to t-mold.com.
I posted that info before and suddenly that thread is locked.... gee... wonder why that is.

Funny ... I am planning to place another order for T-molding as my current stash is either allocated (Nintendo white and textured black for Galaga) or not what I want for those cabinets (I have a bunch of smooth black). Was planning to go with t-mold.com this time (just to see, as I have had nothing but great experiences with t-molding.com).
However, the stupid self-promotion shenanigans and deceitful practices of Atomic Punk have changed my mind ... this order will definitely not be going to t-mold.com.
Thanks for the heads-up, PDB! Keep keeping 'em honest.
Cheers.

The funniest part of this whole thing is that we would have welcomed him with open arms if he had just said who he was to start with. We're at no loss of people here who have businesses in this hobby.

I'm probably missing some too.... If he had just come in and said he was from T-mold.com and let us know what was up at his site, I don't think one person on here would have complained unless it was an all out advertising post.
oh well, I'll be ordering from Tmolding.com from now on.
-
If he had been straight-up from the get-go and just asked that people give him a try, I WOULD have ordered from him ... I'm still looking to come up with projects so I can order stuff from RandyT and DreamArcades (have ordered stuff from Christian and Andy with total satisfaction).
Cheers.

I think it's obvious to anyone who has read the forums that this community supports the vendors who provide products and services to the community in a professional manner.

Oh, and he unlocked it now....

Good call
IMHO only mods/administrators should be able to lock and unlock threads

did he unregister himself? Or was that a mod?
Doesn't really matter... I just think it's a bit funnier if he did it himself in an online version of "taking his ball and going home"

Think he reports the "sales" to himself on his income tax returns? I also wonder if the money starts in his left hand and ends in his right, or versa visa.
T-mold.com gets a big thumbs down from me.

T-molding.com will get my business. they were the original guys anyhow right? Didn't T-mold.com copy the url? Someone should look it up to see when the addresses were registered, but based on the full vs. the truncated names... I can make a guess.
-
Vendors = good stuff for us (yay!)
Deception = bad stuff for vendor (boo!)
Damn, and I love that tune too. Gonna have to play some Van Halen to get the good vibes back in my head.
(oh, and t-molding.com has always been very good to me and my many cabinets!) :)
-
thanks to all who've put a heads up on these shenanigans.
originally i'd ordered some samples from molding, but after initially seeing the thread title, thought i'd look at mold to check it out. but after reading the thread, shot that thought down immediately.
if you're having trouble finding slot cutters, i found mine here. http://www.cheyennesales.com/catalog/cmtslot.htm although they charge a bit too much on shipping (8-9 bucks between FL and OH,) nowadays, it's becoming increasingly difficult to find one that doesn't gouge at least somewhat on the shipping. especially on ebay. my total was around 31 bucks after all was said and done. (they discuss a usps option, but it's not a choice in the pulldown menu when checking out. maybe an email to them would open up that option?)
received the cutter in about 4 days too, so a decent experience, but i'm sure you can find a slightly cheaper vendor if you wish to spend the extra time.

Competition is a good thing.... Maybe cut the guy some slack....If his prices are good and good shipping...
I agree though that he shouldn't have started out so stealthy. Maybe he was shy ?
-
who cares...i order from him and i still will...it's a tough business i suppose.
cut him some slack

If the prices are ~same and the shipping ~same, why give someone money when he's going around pretending to be an impartial person and saying his stuff is better? It's dishonest. Besides, who are you going to believe that his shipping is good? Him posing as someone that actually bought something? I also call shenanigans. Get me my broom.
IMO:
www.T-mold.com = thumbs down.
www.T-molding.com (http://www.T-molding.com) = thumbs up.
I think an apology is in order.
-
Jabba: I hear ya, it was probably just a boneheaded mistake, which is why he should just come clean and say "well it seemed like a good idea to get some customers". We know he's reading the threads. We're big enough to forgive and forget when someone comes clean...
Once would have been a boneheaded mistake ... he did it twice ... and they were his only two posts in this forum ... that speaks volumes about what he thinks of us -- he can't be bothered to post here as a business owner (when DreamArcades has stuff to say about t-molding, he is completely straight-up about it), but is all to happy to try and deceive us.
Now, if he did come clean I would at least reconsider trying him out. As far as the claim of better selection, I dunno ... t-mold.com certainly has more sizes (and bunches of 5/8") and has textured red in 3/4", but has fewer options in total for 3/4".
And he does have a cabinet:
http://www.t-mold.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5
I see little need to cut him a break (it is my money, after all), in the same way that I see little need to cut the EvilCorporateOverlord (tm) a break ... about the only way either will get my business is if they have something I can't get somewhere else for a similar (and not necessarily lower) price. The EvilCorporateOverlord (tm) at least had the stones to come here and try to explain himself.
Cheers.
EDIT: Maybe if he tried a Cy Sperling approach to things ... "I'm not only the t-mold.com president, I'm also a client!"
EDIT2: Changed ECO to EvilCorporateOverlord -- Sorry RandyT!

Soo.... wait... are WE the servile self-seekers... or the influential people. I'm mostly seeking arcade controls... and I surely don't feel influential. Hm.

Err....if you are confusing the TOKN
-
You guys are really over reacting.
If such a simple little post on a message board gets your panties in a bunch, then I hope to hell you are also not ever shopping at Wal*Mart and the thousands of other places that use far more unethical practices that affect real people in much deeper ways than what this guy did.
Hell, chances are your corner store is selling illegally imported goods and you wouldn't even know it.

Heh, if you have to compare them to WalMart, they CAN'T be good! :) However, I understand that panties are on sale there, so if I can't unknot mine...

I made a purchase recently for some tmolding from www.t-molding.com. Came out great.. man it does really add a lot to the cab.. definatly worth buying..
on a side note.. my father in law gave me an old router that I was going to use for my cab. It has seen some harsh treatment, at one point it was outside in the rain, and the rest of the time collecting dust in a shed. When I built my cab it was the first time in at least 10 years it was powered on. Worked like a champ! :o

It's purely a comfort issue. Wait... was that comment directed at me :P?
