Im about to start placing some orders for my joysticks and buttons. Im pretty sure i will get them from Happs. I see that they also have a spinner for sale but its kind of expensive. Anyone have suggestions on spinners and where to get them? I dont want to hack one because im not good at that stuff.
I like the 3" trackball that i see for sale on happs, and im willing to spend that much for it, because i will get more use out of it, than i will out of the spinner. However, im always willing to save some cash, any suggestions on trackballs?
Thanks :)

Oscar's spinners always get rave reviews and they are priced attractively.

I don't have one... yet....
He's also got an optical inferface for hooking up trackballs. Does the happ one that you want have a PS/2 or serial connection already on it?

You might want to look on eBay for a trackball. The 3" one made by Imperial Billiards is excellent (not sure how it compares to the Happ 3") and they sell on eBay for $10 - $40 all the time. These trackballs have a nice heavy white ball with a smooth roll, a black plastic base, and usually come with 3 white buttons.

Oscar Controls's (http://www.oscarcontrols.com (http://www.oscarcontrols.com)) spinners are the best. Got mine last week.
And to connect them (tracball and spinner) the Ultimarc's Opti-Pac (http://www.ultimarc.com (http://www.ultimarc.com)) is the best!
That's what i think.

Thanks for the info guys. The track ball that i am looking at can come with a serial, ps/2 or USB connectors, but i really dont need that, because i plan on connecting it to an Opti-Pac. That Oscar's spinner looks really great. Now i got to decide which knob to get :)
Thanks.
