Well last saturday i was getting some parts for my cocktail machine and i saw a machine called Continental Circuit
It was a sit down cab and when i looked inside there were some glasses attached to the roof.
I thought that was wierd and looked at the back of the cab and it had some art on it that said 3D
I thought sweet it must be an arcade game that works like the sega master system 3D glasses work (never actually played a 3D game before not on master system not on anything)
So i asked the guy about it and he was telling me about how it works and how the translation was screwed up with the game title and all.
Then he flipped the machine on and said have a go :o
I jumped in there and pulled the glasses down so i was looking at the screen.
IT WAS SO FRIGGEN COOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never seen this 3D stuff but seening the car and track pop off screen was so cool
So i started playing it for a min and thought it was a great game and cabinet it had the standard hi/low gear and the stearing wheel and it had 2 pedels (it says there was only 1 pedal on klov but this had 2 but i never use brake so i didn't try the pedal out)
After playing it for a min i got out and had a good look at the cab and it was in good condition the monitor was crisp altho the screen was doubble viewed and jumping cause of the 3D so i couldn't tell if it had blur altho it didn't when looking through the glasses.
The only thing this cabiney needed was a good wash and new art but that was it.
The guy said it was $700 i think he said i was a bit excited i don't remember exactly.
I might go back and by the machine altho i would have no room in the house to have it.
Just thought id share an arcade moment i had probably borning ::)

Yeah I remember playing that. An OK racing game, but the 3D gimmick was cool. Hardly worth $700 though. It was made in 1989. It's worth maybe $250-$300 tops. But you already ruined [any chance of a fair deal] for yourself by being so excited.

I'm in australia so machines like these are rare
But im not buying it i don't impulse buy on arcade machines ;D

Unfortunately I can't talk my wife into that, given all my recent purchases.

yeah it really is a great cab you can turn the 3d thing off so thats a plus but its a great looking cab :)

Where can I get some 3d glasses that will work for this game in MAME...The game is pretty cool; I'd really like to see it in 3D!
